Great weather and fun at the park

The past few days the weather has been so nice, it's been wonderful. Over the weekend Russ and I took Rylen and Adi to the park while Zac was at grandma and grandpa's house. Rylen had fun and Russ enjoyed getting to taking her because he is always at work when we play at the park and he never gets to come. After the park we went grocery shopping and Rylen had a HUGE meltdown because she didn't want to sit in the cart, She was so bad that Russ had to take her into the bathroom to calm her down. I hope she never throws a fit like that in public again, I have never has so many people look at me like I was a crazy horrible mother that couldn't control her kid.

Today we went with Miranda and the kids to the park, we decided to try a park that we had never been to before and I'm so glad we did! It was a very nice park and safe park and the kids had a blast playing on the playground and riding scooters, We will definitely be going to that park again. I'm hoping the weather will stay nice for a bit longer so we can have a few more playdates at the park before the weather is crappy.

Rough day

Today it was very hard for me to get going because I was up all night trying to get Adilynn to go to sleep, She is a great sleeper most of the time but last night was rough. After dragging myself out of bed, taking a shower and getting Zac off to school I got the girls ready to go run some errands. We went to target because my friend Miranda told me that they were having some good sales and I was hoping I could find some cheap jeans for Zac. I didn't find any jeans but I did find 2 super cute dresses for Rylen that I have had my eye on for months! They were only $3.23 each, they are short sleeve but I bought them a bit big so they will fit her this spring/summer. After target we went to the starbucks drive thru so I could get a little pick me up pumpkin spice latte...yummy. Then I had to get gas before driveing to O'fallon. We then went to kmart to make a payment on our christmas layaway, while I was there I decided to look and see if they had a DS since they didn't have any last we were there and I was lucky because they only had 2 left, a blue one and a pink one. Zac told me that he wanted the blue one so I grabbed it and put it in lay away with the rest of our stuff. The kids wont be getting much for christmas this year but they are always happy with what they get and we always do our best to get them as much as we can. After leaving kmart we headed home for lunch and nap time, I was really hoping that Adilynn would take a nap so I could get a quick nap in too but that didn't happen. After nap time the girls were both in very bad moods, Rylen was just being a pain in the butt 2 year old and Rylen was being a crabby baby. When Zac got home from school he was being a pain in the butt too. I think that somehow the kids plan things behind my back that they are going to all be as bad as they can be that day and see if they can make me go insane... well today they succeeded in that. Then they also succeeded in making their dad crazy when got home. Now all the kids are in bed and asleep even Adilynn! So I am going to get some sleep while I can and I sure hope she sleeps good tonight.

Good day Sad night

Today started out as a good day, The weather was nice and Rylen got to play outside for a while and we walked to the bus stop to get Zac, My mom came over to cut my hair and see the kids for a little bit. After dinner I got a call from my mom telling me that my grandma went to the doctor and found out that her kidneys are failing and she only has 3 months to live. sadly I don't think we will have the money to go down and see her before she dies. tonight is going to be a long sleepless night for me.

Halloween 2009

On Halloween the kids got dressed up so we could take some pics and then go trick or treating, Rylen was a bit shy at first but once she realized there was candy in her elmo bucket she was very excited . Zac led the way and showed Rylen how trick or treating was done. The kids had a great time, They got a ton of candy and even glowsticks and bubbles from a few houses. I can't wait until next year to see Adilynn's face when she gets to go trick or treating for the first time.

Adilynn just slept in her sling the whole time. I tied her tutu around the sling so she could still wear her costume.

pumpkin carving 2009

A few nights before halloween we covered the kitchen floor in trashbags, got out our carving kit and starting gutting our pumkins. Russ and I shared a pumpkin to carve, Zac had his own pumpkin to carve and Rylen had a little pumpkin that she used mr. patato head like things that you stick in the pumpkin and make animal faces. The kids really enjoyed gutting the pumpkins and Rylen enjoyed eating the pumpkin guts. Russ and Zac carved pumpkins while Rylen threw the guts at everyone and while I prepped the seeds for roasting. Rylen made her pumpkin into a dog and Zac carved a monster on his. Zac did such a good job carving his pumpkin, I'm so proud of him. After cleaning up the mess that somehow all ended up on the kitchen floor and not on the trash bags I put down we took the pumkins outside to lite them up and take pics.
